Alicia E. Emili, ESQ
I have been a licensed attorney for seven years, licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey focused on both estate planning and business law. On the estate side, I work with both estate planning and estate administration. I help clients form Wills & Trusts as well as Health Care Directives. When there is a death in the family, I help clients on the estate administration end. With regard to business law, I handle a majority of buy/sell agreements, business formation, business advising, and contract drafting/review/negotiation.
My clients range from entrepreneurs to mid- size businesses, as well as those looking to preserve their financial gains through estate planning. With experience in business development prior to law school, I find it important to not only be informed of my clients needs when they walk through my door, but their ongoing needs and intentions moving forward. With this, it is essential that my clients have a circle of advisors that can interact with each other regarding the clients’ movements so that each professional’s advice streamlines in a manner that advances the client’s agenda in the best way possible. For example, it is often times natural for a lawyer to give different advice than an accountant- but when said lawyer and accountant team up to advance the clients’ needs, the transactions tend to run smoothly- in the end benefiting both the client and the professionals involved- leading to a higher retention of clients.
Working in both large and small law firms, I believe this strategy sets my firm apart from most. Outside of the firm, I am on the Board of the Lehigh Valley Consortium ofProfessional Organizations, and a member of the Lehigh Valley Estate Planning Committee, Community Partners 4 Kids, and Believers in Business.
